Matthew Shanafelt

Prior to forming Shanafelt CPA LLC in 2020, Matthew Shanafelt has been working with tax & accounting clients in Portland and the surrounding areas since 2014, when he first came to work at the River Street office.  At that time, the firm was known as The Miller Associates.  Before arriving in Portland, he worked for 10 years in auditing, tax preparation, and commercial construction.  Matthew received his BA in Economics with and Accounting Emphasis from the University of California at Santa Barbara, became an IRS Enrolled Agent in 2017 and received his CPA license in 2019.  When not in the office, Matthew enjoys playing golf, camping, and spending time with his wife, Becky.

Wendy Bunkers

Wendy started her career in the hotel industry, where she accrued 7 years of customer service and computer skills in a management position. She has learned that consistent and clear communication is a must. In her free time, Wendy enjoys spending time with her husband and 5 children.
